My MTSO is nearing our first year anniversary with WebChartMD as our only source for dictation and transcription. My staff and I had interviewed eight different platform vendors and entrusted the transition of our clients to WebChartMD. The 20+ ambulatory care and medical clinics we serve found the transition extremely user friendly and report more efficiencies in their workflow because of the enhancements WebChartMD brings to their medical record processing. Their ability to search, batch print, flag, fax, and review files can now be done more efficiently and lessens cumbersome and time wasting steps. Each of my clients appreciates that we offer this higher level of service and technology.
My transcriptionists are extremely happy with the enhancements to their workday. They no longer have to retrieve files from our FTP site and perform multiple steps before they can start typing and be productive. As owner, I receive their compliments and accolades on taking the leap into better technology and assisting them in being more productive. One of my transcriptionists took the time to email me a testimony of how wonderful our platform is in comparison to several other companies she has worked for over the years. My administrative staff finds WebchartMD is much easier to bring on new clients and train new transcriptionists. As a small business owner, this is huge! We are a small fish in a big pond, but I never feel that way in my contacts with sales or support staff. I became familiar with WebChartMD in the summer of 2006 when I was looking for a new and easier way to be able to transport dictations from and finished documents back physicians offices, that I could afford. However, the system had to be user friendly for both the physicians, the office staff and the medical transcriptionists that would be working on the platform. I had spent thousands of dollars just a few years earlier trying to achieve this, but the software was not user friendly and required many hours of my time driving to the doctors offices, installing the software and doing my own tech support.
I had previously checked into other platforms/EMRs that required up to two weeks of training in their facility which meant more traveling and more cost to our company to learn how to use it. After I found WebChartMD and got my first online demo, I was hooked. They offered everything that I was looking for including some things that, at the time, did not seem that important. However, it was those little things that made me decide to stay with this system. The software is very user friendly for anyone that has to use it, including the physicians, office staff and the medical transcriptionists. It has allowed me to be able to acquire work from offices in other states without having to actually go there and set it up, as well as being able to hire medical transcriptionists from anywhere in the world. Everything is done remotely and their tech support took care of everything, including setup and training of the physicians, office staff and my medical transcriptionists. This in turn allowed me to be able to spend more time in my office acquiring accounts and hiring new medical transcriptionists to cover that work. This also resulted in my company being able to profit. It is so easy to use that I have many physicians who have downloaded this software on their home computers and do their work from home allowing them to spend more time with the family and away from the office.
Trying to hire a new transcriptionist was such a hassle that there were times I would turn down work just because I did not want to train someone on how to use the new software. WebChartMD took care of that for me. I have also found it to be wonderful from a QC and training standpoint in regards to the ability to provide feedback to new transcriptionists. I appreciate having the feedback options linked specifically to where I need the transcriptionist to see a correction or notes.
WebChartMD has even gone so far as to help our company set up a mailing, design a brochure and they did followup faxes that resulted in more work for our company. The offices that we have set up on WebChartMD love the system and the ease of learning the software as well as the timely fashion that WebChartMD tech support takes care of issues or problems, even if the problem is not due to the WebChartMD software. I am equally impressed, as well as my medical transcriptionists, at the speed of WebChartMD tech support response to problems and issues that arise.
In summary, if you are looking for a new platform for your business, look no further. WebChartMD has everything anyone could every want or need, and more. They are continually doing upgrades to better their software/service, although I don’t know what else they could do. This company and the software are fantastic.

WebChart to the Rescue! Over the past eight years NetMed has had to change transcription platforms twice, and fortunately we discovered WebChart.
