• High Speed (1.5Mb/s or greater) Internet access (Wireless and Satellite are not preferred)
• Windows XP: 1GB RAM (2GB RAM preferred), Windows Vista or Windows 7: 2GB RAM (3GB RAM Preferred)
• 100 MB available hard drive space¹
• The latest service pack and critical updates for the version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office you are running
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 (Currently Internet Explorer 9 is not supported)
• Digital voice recorder²
• Available USB port
• Audio player (free download available)

Transcriptionist’s Computers

¹ Amount of hard drive space required can vary based on the number of dictations that will be processed daily
² We recommend using one of the following recorders: Olympus DS-2, Olympus DS-2300, Olympus DS-3000, Olympus DS-4000
